Here are three of our most common basic designs for your motorised sliding gate, pedestrian entry gate and caravan or trailer manual swing gates. Your gate can be powder coated in any of the Dulux colours, see below. If you want something more there are hundreds of design options that you can discuss with us.
We can custom design your gate to any size, length or height, with extras such as solar power, 12 volt, automatic openers and keypad entry/exit. We do the lot under one fixed price.

Sliding Gate Slatted in Frame custom made to any size. Constructed from 65 x 16mm slats, welded horizontally in to a strong, wide 80 x 50 box section aluminium frame with approx. 10-20mm gaps and a safety stopper at both ends. Powder Coated with over 200 colours from Dulux colour chart.

We use a thick 80 x 50 x 3mm aluminium welded frame. Not only is this aesthetically pleasing, it will slide through the rollers without wobbling in the wind. Inside we have additional support with square box section aluminium, welded vertically to give added strength. For safety, a stopper is used on the floor (200 x 200 concrete pad required by others prior). The top keeper/latch is powder coated to match your gate.

Slats With No Gaps

Custom made to any size, with vertically/horizontally welded 100 x 16mm slats butted together with no gap in strong, RAD (rounded edge not square) wide 100 x 50 box aluminium frame.

We use a thick 80 x 50 x 3mm aluminium welded frame. Not only is this aesthetically pleasing, it will open without wobbling in the wind. Inside we have additional support with square box section aluminium, welded vertically to give added strength. The top keeper/latch is powder coated to match your gate.

Our custom gates are NOT for pool safety use and are NOT pool compliant. We do NOT issue form 15 or any pool certification. All measurements are taken from the outside, looking in. The gate will always have a good “face side” which faces out (that you walk through to the other side), the inside will have the fabrication welds and grinds. Unless you state otherwise, all “good” sides of the gate will face outwards.

Human Error: As Humans, not computers or robots build and install our custom built, bespoke, one off products, in the extremely rare and unlikely event that a design or fabrication error occurs, Gold Coast Brick & Block reserves the right to rectify, modify and or “make good” any fabricated and or installed product on site or in our factory. Gold Coast Brick & Block will incur all “make good” and reinstallation costs excluding temporary fencing hire/security.

There is no warranty on the refit of existing motors or parts. 12 Months Warranty on all new gates and parts from the date of installation. A further 12 months direct manufacturers warranty on automatic openers. There is no warranty on the refit of existing motors or parts that are not supplied by us. There is a 12 months warranty on all new gates and hardware from the date of installation. Automatic Openers & Accessories include a 12 month warranty from the date of installation on parts, labour and the Gold Coast call out fee (excluding batteries). The manufacturer extends a full 12 months direct manufacturers warranty on parts only, excluding labour and call out fees. All warranty claims must be submitted within this period.
